PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the information that we collect generally to fulfil any requests placed through the Site Additionally, we use this information to:
Communicate with you; or
When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
In accordance with our data retention schedule (available on written request) there may be occasions when data is not destroyed due to ongoing investigation, ligation or enquiry. The data will be deleted upon confirmation that it is no longer required. On some occasions anonymised personal data will be retained whereby a client has provided a testimonial for use on the Site. When data is non-identifiable GDPR law is no longer applicable. Personal information is collated and stored in hard copy in a locked filing cabinet behind a locked door. Any document containing personal data will state “Official-sensitive, private and confidential”. All emails contain a privacy statement
HOW WE PROCESS YOUR DATA
Clients give clear consent for their data to be processed for the specific purpose/s detailed in the consent form stored in their personal file.
Mark de Freitas Hypnotherapy does not require consent to hold your data to provide a service but does require your consent to contact you for specific purposes. Participating in the service by attending more than one appointment implies that you agree with the Terms and Conditions provided to you at the commencement of service delivery.
Mark de Freitas Hypnotherapy processes personal information to enable the provision of Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy, to advertise services and to maintain accounts and records.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We do NOT share your Personal Information with third parties.
We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a court order, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
DO NOT TRACK
Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.
If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact us in writing using the contact details below. All requests will be actioned within 30 days and information will be available to the data owner within a maximum of 60 days.
Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above.
In the event of my death or sudden illness, my supervisor will be granted access to any client data held. My supervisor will then will contact existing clients and archive any client files in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations.
